The Aromatic Life is about a life and home filled with pleasant scents, but not scents that are cloying, heavy or artificial. We want you to walk into your home, office or any other space you think of as your own and exclaim, “Wow, it smells good in here!” We want your hugs to include the person you’re hugging telling you that you “smell so good.”

Scent is a tricky thing. Perfumes and scents have been banned from spaces like classrooms, hospitals and airplanes because strong odours — no matter how pleasant the scent is to some — can make people feel ill. Truthfully, essential oils can do this too! This writer and social media gal has been the victim of one wicked headache after putting way too much ylang ylang essential oil in the diffuser and running it non-stop next to the bed while I read for an hour. Oops! I learned that lesson the hard way.

Essential oils are a powerful tool and here at The Apothecary, we are passionate about offering information and education that empowers you to use essential oils for good, not evil.
