Celebrated for its ability to soothe, heal and moisturize, aloe vera juice is pressed from the thick rubbery leaves of the aloe vera plant. The aloe vera we sell is a thin liquid containing the natural gel from the leaf and the water components of the plant. It is not to be confused with an actual gel, which goes through a “gelification” process.
High in various vitamins, aloe is a protector, hydrator and rejuvenator for the skin, shielding against the elements, and is well respected for its application as a moisturizing agent. Aloe is said to encourage skin rejuvenation, heal and soothe burns and wounds, and reduce scarring.
