This cheerful and happy essence is often considered by aromatherapists and everyday users to be amongst the top 10 essential oils to own. Commonly found in earl grey tea, this beautifully tangy and lightly tart citrus oil is well known for its powerful stress busting properties. It holds a remarkable ability to induce feelings of a calm while assisting with anxiety and/or sadness.

Bergamot is known to help aid eczema and digestive complaints. It may calm, energize and uplift the mind.

Scent Profile: Bergamot is a top note. It is bright, citrusy, refreshing and sweet with a subtle spice undertone.

Blending

Blends well with black pepper, clary sage, cypress, frankincense, geranium, ginger, jasmine, neroli, nutmeg, orange, patchouli, rose, sandalwood, spikenard, vetiver, ylang ylang.

Contraindications / Safety: Phototoxic. Avoid exposure to strong UV rays for 12 to 24 hours after application. May be a skin irritant in excess dosage.

I received my order in a prompt, and timely manner, and found this oil to have a refreshing fragrance. I cannot really say about it's effectiveness with respect to the purpose for which I tried it - the size that I bought was not large enough. The purpose was to increase mental acuity and memory performance. Still I enjoyed the small sample that I had.

An Essential for your Kit

I received this as a sample from their Oil of the Month Club, and it is refreshing and uplifting. In the sample it said that the phototoxic properties had been removed. So maybe the description needs to be updated. I am pleased with the quality, and it is a staple in my collection..

Looooove it! Such a powerful oil

This was one of my favorites thus far, having never used Apothecary at Inglewood products before I have been super surprised and pleased with all of the oils. This oil specifically is super potent and uplifting. I could sit here and smell it all day! Retains its scent nicely, really great quality!
