Get Cozy With Superfood Elixirs

Though it is officially still summer, there’s no denying that fall feeling in the air. Love it or hate it, we might as well embrace it! And what better way to do so than to cozy up with a warm, nourishing, tasty beverage?

We love Harmonic Arts elixirs because they offer all the comfort and deliciousness of any of our favourite hot drinks, with the major added bonus of being crafted around medicinal mushrooms, adaptogenic herbs and superfoods. When we treat ourselves to a mug of any one of these scrumptious elixirs, we know that we are nourishing our bodies and supporting our systems with carefully chosen, high quality ingredients.

We also love that Harmonic Arts is always coming up with new ways to incorporate their elixir powders into our diets. They feature a ton of yummy recipes on their website! Here are a few of our favourites — at least one for each elixir we carry.

Golden Mylk Elixir

Relax and reset with this creamy turmeric spice beverage which is at once soothing, calming and warming. In addition to soothing turmeric, Golden Mylk Elixir contains ashwagandha to combat stress; turkey tail to balance gut health; and ginger & white pepper to stimulate digestion. Enjoy it on its own (it's especially great before bed!) or try one of the autumn-ready recipes below!

How to make this elixir on its own

Hot: Combine 2 tsp Golden Mylk Elixir powder, 1 tsp coconut oil (or oil/fat of your choice), 1 tsp honey (or sweetener of your choice) and 8 oz hot water, tea or nut mylk in blender and mix.
Cold: Combine 2 tsp Golden Mylk Elixir powder, 8 oz nut mylk and 1 tsp honey (or sweetener of your choice) in blender and mix. Add ice cubes.

Elevate Elixir

Elevate is a creamy cardamom beverage with lions mane to enhance focus and memory; mucuna pruriens to combat stress; lotus and green tea pollen to nourish body and mind; lucuma to beautify skin and stimulate digestion; and cardamom to harmonize digestion. Enjoy it on its own or try the Chai Balls we've linked to below.

How to make this elixir on its own

Hot: Combine 1 tbsp Elevate Elixir powder, 1 tsp coconut oil (or oil/fat of your choice), 1 tsp honey (or sweetener of your choice) and 8 oz hot water, tea or nut mylk in blender and mix.
Cold: Combine 1 tbsp Elevate Elixir powder, 8 oz nut mylk and 1 tsp honey (or sweetener of your choice) in blender and mix. Add ice cubes.

Kickstart Elixir

Kickstart is a robust coffee substitute with chaga to boost the body's defence system; ramon nut for nutrients and a full-bodied flavour; yerba mate for energy; dandelion to enhance digestion and detoxification; and sarsaparilla to support your liver and hormones. It's a great way to start your day as per the regular instructions, or as a "latte," like in the Hot Cocoa recipe below!

How to make this elixir on its own

Matcha Mind Elixir

Matcha powder is known to improve clarity and focus, and Harmonic Arts has added a host of beneficial mushrooms and herbs to this version for the ultimate matcha experience. This includes lions mane to support memory and brain health; moringa for nutrients and to boost energy; green tea pollen to nourish body and mind; and mucuna pruriens for stress and mood support.
