Because of its sweet, herbal, earthy and 'vegetable' like scent, carrot seed essential oil is more often chosen for its cosmetic uses rather than its fragrance. This oil is known to promote elasticity in the skin and help skin cells regenerate.

Recommended Uses

Carrot seed is known to help aid eczema, dermatitis, help reduce the appearance of scars, helps promote elasticity in skin, psoriasis and rosacea.*

Scent Profile: Carrot seed is a middle/top note. It is earthy, herbal, sweet and vegetable-like.

Blending

Blends well with bergamot, cedarwood, cinnamon, cistus absolute, geranium, ginger, helichrysum, lavender, lemon, melissa, neroli, orange, petitgrain, rosemary, verbena.

Good Quality Oil

I have been using this on my face and my skin feels like it is drinking it in. Food for your skin! I also put a few drops in Jojoba and rub it in the liver area. It is supposed to support liver health. Good quality oils and fast delivery.

I purchased this for its sunscreen abilities and very pleased with the quality. I like that I can purchase it in larger quantities than just 5ml. It easily compares to other high quality carrot seed that I have purchased elsewhere. No need to look for another supplier, I will be buying all my oils from The Apothecary in the future.
