Latin:Nepeta cataria

Cherished by both cats and bees. Flowers are elongated white clusters at the tip of the plant. Harvest flowers and top-most leaves to encourage bushiness. Plant directly outdoors when the soil is warm or start indoors, early spring and transplant into a partially shaded spot. Tolerates most soils but prefers not too rich, dryish, well drained soil. Excellent tea plant. Cold remedy. Use fresh or dried. Perennial.
