Don’t let the name of cedarwood texas deceive you, for it is actually part of the juniper family. Its common name is given due to its similarity in scent. The high percentage of certain sesquiterpenes and alcohols indicate a distinct similarity to atlas cedarwood.
Cedarwood texas may help with rebalancing the nervous system. Emotionally, it may assist with easing anxiety and stress, clearing the mind from mental chatter, decreasing irritability, grounding excess energy, healing emotional trauma and meditation.

Cedarwood, texas is a base note. It is smoky, balsamic, woody and reminiscent of a wet sauna.
Blends well with angelica, balsam of peru, clary sage, clove, coffee, coriander, cypress, fir balsam, frankincense, galbanum, ginger, helichrysum, juniper, lavender, oakmoss, patchouli, black spruce and vetiver.
Not advisable neat on the skin, or for long term use for conditions such as eczema, dermatitis or psoriasis. Avoid use in early pregnancy. Do not confuse with cedar leaf (thuja) essential oil which is entirely different and much more dangerous. Keep all essential oils well away from children and especially away from the eyes.
