Eucalyptus citriodora is also known as lemon eucalyptus. It has a fresh, light, lemony scent that is somewhat reminiscent of citronella. It is a common ingredient in natural bug deterrents and muscular pain relief blends. This species of eucalyptus is native to Queensland in northeastern Australia. All parts of the tree are valued throughout various industries. The aromatherapy industry uses the essential oil obtained from the leaves; the wood is used in the construction of ships, bridges, and flooring.
