Produced from the spent seeds of grapes from winemaking, grapeseed oil is light, slightly astringent and non-greasy making it a wonderful base for most aromatherapy practices. Grapeseed oil is hypoallergenic, making it a suitable oil for all skin types. It is especially effective on oily or sensitive skin, and can also be used in massage. Grapeseed oil is an emollient and may contain skin toning properties. It is known to promote hair growth, boost circulation, protect against sun damage, and reduce the appearance of blemishes, wrinkles, and stretch marks. It is an anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, cleansing, astringent and antibacterial oil.

Users can expect a shelf life of up to 2 years with proper storage conditions. It is recommended that cold pressed carrier oils be kept in a cool, dark place to maintain freshness and achieve maximum shelf life. If refrigerated, bring to room temperature before using. Keep oxygen out of the bottle and rebottle into smaller sizes as oil is used.
