This essential oil is also commonly known by many as 'everlasting' or 'immortelle'. When the plant dries out, it not only retains its original shape, but the flowers also maintain their original yellow colour. Many qualified aromatherapists will keep this oil in natural first aid kits as it can treat many ailments and injuries. This can include (but is not limited to) skin trauma, wounds, burns, internal and external bruising, scars and stretch marks, dermatitis, eczema, some allergic reactions, general inflammation, asthma, bronchitis, sinusitis, chronic coughs, muscular aches and pains, arthritis, strained muscles, as well as general cold and flu.
This is a dilution of 10% Helichrysum essential oil in jojoba.
- Recommended Uses
Helichrysum essential oil is known to be analgesic and anti-inflammatory. It can promote circulation and act as a diuretic, expectorant and stimulant. It may assist with healing bruises and wounds, coughs and bronchial congestion, abdominal cramps, muscular spasms, arthritis, rheumatism, carpel tunnel, eczema and psoriasis. It may be anti-spasmodic and is a well-known healing oil. Emotionally, helichrysum is grounding and can help promote creativity.

- Scent Profile
Helichrysum is a middle/top note. It is warm, peppery and herbaceous with a honied top note.
Blends well with balsam of peru, basil, bergamot, carrot seed, chamomile, clary sage, cypress, fragonia, frankincense, geranium, grapefruit, juniper berry, laurel, lavender, lemon, marjoram, niaouli, orange sweet, palmarosa, pine scotch, plai, ravensara, rosemary, tea tree, thyme, vetiver, yarrow and ylang ylang.
