Jasmine Sambac Absolute

The essence of this plant has been appreciated since antiquity and its scent is a prized perfume ingredient. The beautiful fragrance of jasmine also seems to have many profound effects on the mind and spirit. For our mental/emotional selves, it is said that jasmine can dispel fear and anger, dissolve pessimism and apathy, reduce mental depression and anxiety, combat paranoia and sadness, boost self-confidence and ease emotional suffering or heartache.

Recommended Uses

Jasmine sambac may assist with menstrual cramps, abdominal spasms, nervous tension or stress related conditions. It is a known aphrodisiac that can also be used to address lethargy or fatigue. Emotionally, jasmine is a calming and sedative oil.

Scent Profile

Jasmine sambac is a middle/base note. Its scent is sweet, fruity and floral with a honied undertone. Jasmine gets sweeter as it ages on the skin.

Blends well with bergamot, black pepper, cardamom, cedarwood atlas, chamomile, cinnamon, cistus absolute, clary sage, clove bud, coriander, copaiba balsam, cypress, fir balsam, frankincense, galbanum, geranium, ginger, grapefruit, helichrysum, lavender, lemon, lemongrass, lime, mandarin, melissa, neroli, orange sweet, palmarosa, patchouli, rose absolute, rose otto, sandalwood, tuberose, vetiver and ylang ylang.
