Eucalyptus Smithii Essential Oil (wildcrafted)

Eucalyptus smithii is the preferred species of eucalyptus when practicing aromatherapy on children. Despite the gentle nature of eucalyptus smithii, it produces the same therapeutic properties as other hard-hitting eucalyptus species.

Recommended Uses

Eucalyptus is known to assist with lower and upper respiratory complaints such as coughs, bronchitis, colds and flus, asthma, pneumonia and sinusitis. Eucalyptus may be used as a mental stimulant to improve clarity and focus. It is an emotionally energizing oil.

Eucalyptus smithii is a top note. Its scent is medicinal and camphorous.

Blending

Blends well with basil, black pepper, cedarwood, cypress, eucalyptus (all), fragonia, geranium, ginger, juniper berry, lavandin, lavender, laurel, lemon, manuka, marjoram, peppermint, pine scotch, ravensara, ravintsara, rosemary, tangerine, tea tree, thyme and vetiver.

Contraindications / Safety

None known. This is the preferred eucalyptus for dermal and aerial application in children.
