WE LOVE WORKSHOPS!

Make your birthday party, bachelorette/bachelor party, reunion, or staff party all the more memorable with a custom workshop! Mix and match products to suit your budget and interests. Workshop itineraries must meet a minimum of 30 minutes in length.

To book a Private Workshop, we suggest you book with us a minimum of 4 weeks in advance as our calendar fills quickly!

ALL THE NITTY GRITTY DETAILS

Class Size

We require a minimum of 6 students to run a workshop and can accommodate up to 11 in our space. Depending on the menu items you choose, we may accommodate larger groups if you have a larger venue.

Student Fees + Workshop Timings

We charge a flat rate fee per student depending on how long you'd like your workshop. To calculate the duration of your workshop, start with 20 minutes (for teaching time and Q & A) and then add menu items from our hot and cold process menus below. Add them all up, and that's your time!

• 1 hr: $55 / person
• 1.5 hr: $65 / person
• 2 hr: $75 / person

Location + Travel Fees

We can accommodate up to 11 students in our upstairs classroom in Inglewood or we can come to you. We've traveled as far as Banff to teach! Please inquire for more info about offsite workshops (email below).

Travel Fees:

• Within 5 km of The Apothecary: $50
• From 5 km - Calgary ring road: $75
• Outside Calgary Ring Road: inquire for quote
• Note: any parking fees must also be reimbursed

Kid-Friendly Workshops

All of the No Heat Required menu items are engaging and simple enough for kids 10+ to make and enjoy. Heat-processed products are demo-based, and may not be as engaging for kids 10+, but send us an email and we can help you find the best options for the age group.

Payment Policy

Once we have confirmed the full cost of your workshop with you, we require a deposit of our minimum attendance of 6 students to hold your reservation. This deposit is refundable up to one week prior to your workshop date.

The balance of your payment is due one week prior to your Workshop date to complete your booking. If we do not receive final payment at least 7 days prior to your Workshop date, we reserve the right to cancel your Workshop and your deposit may not be refunded.

Cancellation / Date Change Policy

If you do need to cancel or move your booking, please contact us right away. If you cancel your workshop 8 or more days prior to your workshop date, your entire fee is fully refunded. If you cancel 7 or fewer days prior to your date, your 50% deposit is non-refundable. If you cancel 3 or fewer days prior to your date, your entire Workshop fee is non-refundable.

We understand that life happens, and, with just cause for cancellation, and enough notice, we will do our absolute best to accommodate you and rebook your class to a different date (i.e., sick, family emergency, etc.).

Heat Process Products Menu

Heat process products are demonstration only. Students will watch and learn as the instructor makes the product, and each student will go home with a recipe and a full-size product.
