Eucalyptus globulus is also known as eucalyptus blue gum and is the most common eucalyptus species used in the production of essential oils. Recommended Uses

Eucalyptus globulus is known to help with lower respiratory complaints such as coughs from bronchitis, colds and flus, asthma and upper respiratory complaints. It may also assist in easing symptoms of pneumonia and sinusitis. Eucalyptus may be used as a mental stimulant to improve clarity and focus. It is an emotionally energizing oil.

Scent Profile

Eucalyptus globulus is a top note. Its scent is strong, penetrating, medicinal and camphorous.

Blending

Blends well with basil, black pepper, cedarwood, cypress, eucalyptus (all), fragonia, geranium, ginger, juniper berry, lavandin, lavender, laurel, lemon, manuka, marjoram, peppermint, pine scotch, ravensara, ravintsara, rosemary, tangerine, tea tree, thyme and vetiver.

Contraindications / Safety

Can create dermal irritation on those with sensitive skin. Avoid topical applications during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Not recommended for children.
