Hands-On Lotion Making Workshop

Learn to make lotion from scratch!

What We'll Cover

During this fun introductory hands-on workshop held at All Things Jill's manufacturing facility, we will teach you the basics in Lotion Making: common terms, tools, supplies required, tips & tricks and troubleshooting.

Class will start with some lotion making theory, followed by some hands-on practice making lotion! You will take home with you 1 full Liter of hand made lotion that you will customize with carrier oils and scent yourself during class.

This Class is different than our “Lotion Making - Demo Only” Workshop, as it is hands on rather than demo based only!

All participants MUST be age 16 or over (no exceptions). Please see below for additional important safety info prior to registration.

Duration: 2 – 2.5 hours

What You'll Make + Take

• 1L bottle of customizable body lotion
• A comprehensive handout with recipe and notes
• You will also receive a one-time coupon for 10% off post-class purchases at The Apothecary

What to Bring

• You must have closed-toe shoes
• Long hair must be tied back
• While aprons will be provided, spills and drips are possible, and clothing may become dirty; please dress accordingly
• You may want to have a notepad and pen handy for notes

This class is NOT held at The Apothecary; it is run at our sister company, All Things Jill, located at 529 Manitou Rd SE.

Important Notes

• This class takes place in a HIGHLY scented location. If you are scent-sensitive, this may not be the class for you.
• If your desired class is full please email workshops@the-apothecary.ca to be placed on our waitlist. Additional classes may be added based on size of waitlist.
• Attendees MUST be age 16 or over. No exceptions.
• Max Students: 8

Cancellation Policy

• If you cannot make your class, you must give us at least 1 week (7 days) notice in order to receive a full refund for your booking. We are also happy to reschedule you to a new date and time if the schedule allows.
• Cancellations between 6 days - 48 hours prior to the scheduled class are eligible for a move to a future date, or receive a store credit.
• Cancellations made within 48 hours of the class are not eligible for a refund or credit.
• If you are sick and unable to attend, we are happy to work with you to reschedule your participation. Please do not come to class sick.
